Millie Mackintosh’s bathroom is a prime example of a tasteful and luxurious space. Her £5 million home features a large, sprawling bathroom with high ceilings, a copper bath tub, and greenery. The design by BC Designs includes a statement gold bath that adds warmth and a focal point to the room. While the overall design is beautiful and traditional, there are a few elements that could be improved. The large rectangular mirror feels plain, and the vanity appears a bit high street compared to the rest of the space.
Jordana noted that the bathroom is “very tasteful” but lacks the final layer of refinement to feel truly bespoke. The combination of classic panelling, warm tones, and the statement gold bath creates a cohesive and thoughtfully put-together space.
Molly-Mae Hague: A Tacky Lean
Molly-Mae Hague’s bathroom, while having the potential for luxury, falls short in several areas. The use of faux marble porcelain tiles gives an artificial look, and the heavy veining detracts from the high-end aesthetic. The overall color scheme is too grey, making the space feel flat and lacking in warmth. The design is very structured and square, with sharp lines that do not allow for any softness or organic elements.
The tinted mirror also fails to elevate the design, instead feeling like a flat panel added in without purpose. Without additional texture, color, or contrast, the space ends up feeling quite one-dimensional.
