High-Grade Gold Hits at Mt Stirling Signal Strong Potential

GoldArc Resources has made significant progress with high-grade gold results from its grade control drilling program at the Mt Stirling project in Western Australia. These findings reinforce the potential of the site and provide a clear path forward for further development.

The most notable result came from a single drill hole that returned 10 meters of 8.04 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from 26 meters depth. Within this interval, there was an even richer 2-meter zone grading 23.2 g/t. This kind of high-grade intersection is crucial for building confidence in the project’s viability.

Other important intercepts included:

  • 9 meters at 6.32 g/t Au from 31 meters
  • 9 meters at 5.01 g/t Au from 21 meters
  • 4 meters at 7.00 g/t Au from 22 meters

These results are part of a larger 34,000-meter drill program launched to support ore reserve estimates and feasibility studies for the two deposits—Mt Stirling and Stirling Well.

GoldArc has already defined a 137,000-ounce gold resource at Mt Stirling and a 15,000-ounce resource at Stirling Well. The company’s managing director, Paul Stephen, emphasized the importance of these early results:

“Today’s results are the first of an ongoing program that will provide a steady flow of new news to the market as we progress Mt Stirling project in partnership with BML.”

He added:

“These results confirm that Mt Stirling’s high-grade shoots carry the grade continuity we need to build a robust mine plan. Intercepts like 10m at over 8 grams per tonne, with a 2-metre hit at 23 grams, are exactly what you want to see before you start pulling ore.”

A Capital-Light Path to Mining

GoldArc’s collaboration with BML Ventures is designed to generate early cash flow while preserving capital for larger exploration opportunities. Under the agreement, BML covers all drilling expenses, allowing GoldArc to retain a 50% net profit share.

This arrangement provides a capital-light pathway to production and reduces financing risks that often affect explorers at this stage of operations. Stephen explained:

“What makes this genuinely compelling for GoldArc shareholders is that BML Ventures is carrying every dollar of cost. Our exploration capital stays where it generates the most long-term value: drilling new discovery across our large footprint in one of Australia’s premier gold addresses.”

Expanding the Exploration Base

GoldArc controls approximately 1,200 square kilometers of land around Leonora, divided between its Leonora North and Leonora South projects. The company has identified a 200,000-ounce resource across both projects, including Mt Stirling and Stirling Well at Leonora North.

Its landholdings are interpreted to be geologically similar to major nearby projects, such as those operated by Genesis Minerals (ASX:GMD), which has delineated a resource base of about 8.5 million ounces. GoldArc has identified more than 75 kilometers of underexplored strike across its land, offering substantial exploration potential.

Ongoing Exploration Momentum

The grade control drilling at Mt Stirling and Stirling Well is still ongoing, with further assays expected progressively. To date, 135 holes totaling about 3,670 meters have been completed.

Separately, GoldArc is preparing for a steady stream of updates from several drill programs at Leonora South. This includes pending results from a completed RC program at the Cosmopolitan historical mine area. Assays from 6,500 meters of RC drilling at the Sapphire and Orion prospects are also expected in the coming months, along with results from aircore drilling at the Whistler prospect.

Additionally, GoldArc plans to advance the Eclipse prospect to a maiden mineral resource estimate (MRE) and pit optimisation study. Recent drilling at Eclipse returned:

  • 4 meters at 9.43 g/t Au from 46 meters
  • 9 meters at 2.54 g/t Au from 21 meters
  • 5 meters at 3.74 g/t Au from 19 meters

Looking Ahead

With continued drilling and exploration efforts, GoldArc is positioning itself for long-term success in one of Australia’s most promising gold regions. The company’s strategic partnerships and focus on high-grade discoveries are key drivers in its growth trajectory.
