On April 12, Katy Perry shared a carousel of photos from the festival, with Trudeau clearly visible in several shots. The images captured the couple in a variety of moments, showcasing their fun and relaxed vibe at the event.
In one photo, Perry stuck out her tongue while wearing a tee that read “Pls do not give me a rip off your vape no matter what I say.” She also shouted out the Goodyear blimp and shared clips of the pair dancing along to Justin Bieber’s headlining set.
One particular image showed them weaving through the Coachella crowd hand-in-hand, both sporting matching white tees. Another photo depicted them standing side-by-side with snacks and red Solo cups, highlighting their laid-back approach to the festival. There was also a video of them watching the stage, with Trudeau positioned just behind Perry in a way that felt very much like a boyfriend at a festival.
Perry embraced the full festival uniform, which included a fitted white tee, shorts, a tiny black backpack, a cardigan, and black boots with pulled-up socks. Meanwhile, Trudeau kept it simple with jeans, a white T-shirt, and a backwards cap. This marked a noticeable shift from Perry’s recent political appearances, where she had worn more formal attire for meetings with figures like former Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and events such as the World Economic Forum.
The other star of the hour was Justin Bieber, who Perry highlighted in her post. She was seen right near the stage during his set and even included a throwback meet-and-greet photo, confirming her long-standing fandom of the singer.
Perry and Trudeau have been dating since mid-2025, and Perry has been open about their relationship. They have shared various experiences together, including ski trips, boat days, and occasional appearances at global summits. Without regular updates, it might be easy to question whether their relationship is real, given how unlikely the pairing seems. However, their Coachella appearance suggested otherwise.
