, MEDAN-Polrestabes Medan is still investigating the main perpetrator in the murder of a housewife with the initials F (42) in Medan City, North Sumatra (Sumut).
Previously, it was widely reported that the victim was murdered by her youngest child, identified by the initials SAS (12), because the perpetrator was upset that his mother had scolded his older sibling.
Currently, the suspected perpetrator is undergoing forensic psychological observation at the Women and Children Protection Unit (PPA) of the Medan Police Criminal Investigation Unit.
Iptu Dearma Agustina, Head of the Women and Children Protection Unit of the Medan Police, confirmed that forensic psychological observation has been conducted for two days on the suspect.
“We are still observing forensic psychology. We have been observing for 2 days,” he told the media crew on Friday (12/12/2025).
Dearma also corrected previous information regarding the suspected perpetrator SAS, who was initially reported as a Junior High School (SMP) student. Following police investigation, it was found that the suspected perpetrator is actually a 6th-grade elementary school (SD) student.
“Not junior high school, but elementary school at one of the schools in Medan,” he/she explained.
The investigation continues to uncover the motive and the possible involvement of other parties.
In-depth examinations were conducted not only on the suspected perpetrator but also on his father and older brother.
“The core of it is still an investigation, to ascertain who the perpetrator is, or if it’s indeed the main perpetrator, or if there are other perpetrators. The witnesses, the perpetrator’s father and brother, and the child (suspected perpetrator) have already confessed,” revealed Iptu Dearma.
Died Covered in Blood
This fatal incident occurred on Wednesday (10/12/2025) around 05:00 AM WIB, at the residence of the victim Faizah Soraya (42), who was found dead, covered in blood, in her bedroom with several stab wounds on her body.
Then, officers from the Medan Sunggal Police Criminal Investigation Unit and the Inafis team from the Medan Polrestabes, who arrived at the scene, immediately conducted a crime scene investigation.
Officers successfully secured the evidence of a sharp weapon, a knife, suspected to have been used in the incident.
After the crime scene investigation, the victim’s body was taken to Bhayangkara Hospital Medan for an autopsy. Now, the victim’s body has been laid to rest and buried by the family.
Victim’s Family Suspects Husband
Someone claiming to be from the family of an elementary school child killed their mother in Medan, making a clarification in the Instagram comments section.
A 12-year-old teenager, who is in the 6th grade of elementary school and is about to enter junior high school, is suspected of killing his biological mother, FS (42), raising suspicions.

This logic, the child is still in 6th grade, not junior high school, friends, and there are 20 stab wounds. Logically, the mother wouldn’t scream if she wasn’t held back.
