Kathmandu, Nepal – A compelling new work, “Samaya Sutra,” a book-length essay that embarks on a profound exploration of time from both ancient Vedic traditions and contemporary scientific viewpoints, was officially launched in Bouddha, Kathmandu, on Saturday.
The meticulously crafted volume, penned by the insightful journalist Shreesha Bhandari, was jointly inaugurated by a distinguished panel of experts. Among those present to mark the occasion were physicist Professor Udayaraj Khanal, a specialist in cosmology; scholar of Eastern philosophy Professor Amodavardhan Kaundinyayan; senior artist and former chancellor of the Nepal Academy of Fine Arts, Ragini Upadhyay; esteemed senior physician and lyricist Dr. Bhola Rijal; and fellow journalist Tikaram Yatri, alongside a gathering of enthusiastic attendees.
“Samaya Sutra” delves deeply into the multifaceted nature of time, examining its physical, experiential, biological, and psychological dimensions.
