“We’ve located the person in the river. They’re in among the reeds,” an Air Wing officer said in the clip.
“Our plan is to winch them out.”

An officer was carefully lowered into the river, where they successfully reached the cyclist and began the process of winching them to safety.
The operation concluded shortly after 12am on Tuesday, with the cyclist being safely brought back to solid ground. The 31-year-old was then taken to the hospital for a thorough assessment. Fortunately, the cyclist managed to escape the incident without any injuries, highlighting the effectiveness of the rescue efforts.
