Now, according to royal sources, Prince William has made a definitive decision that carries significant weight, even impacting the most emotional of future royal occasions, such as his father King Charles’s potential funeral. Insiders speaking to columnist and TV personality Rob Shuter, who publishes on the Naughty But Nice substack, have revealed a stark decree from the Prince of Wales: “Andrew will never be around Catherine or the kids again.”
This decisive statement underscores William’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding his wife and their three children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. The reported ban on Prince Andrew’s presence extends to all royal gatherings, leaving no room for ambiguity.

Richard Kay elaborated that after the emergence of compromising photographs and damaging claims alleging Prince Andrew’s involvement in passing confidential government information to Epstein and his associates – potentially for their financial gain – Anne recognised the increasing difficulty in defending her brother.
“As a result, say insiders, she came to share the family view that unless Andrew was distanced, the risk of reputational damage to the institution would be considerable,” Kay noted.
