Updated Zeekr X Electric SUV Now Available for Orders
The 2026 Zeekr X electric SUV is now available for orders, offering a more affordable price and enhanced features compared to its predecessor. The updated model has been confirmed at the Melbourne motor show, with final pricing revealed in recent days.
The rear-wheel-drive (RWD) version of the Zeekr X starts from $48,900 across Australia, which is a reduction of between $5,565 and $8,113 compared to the previous model. This is also lower than the earlier forecast of “under $50,000.” The all-wheel-drive (AWD) variant begins at $57,900, with a decrease of between $9,826 and $12,987 from the outgoing model. This is also below the initial estimate of “under $60,000.”
The Zeekr X is now priced lower than the standard prices for the Kia EV3 Air and BYD Atto 3 Premium, making it an attractive option for buyers looking for a cost-effective electric SUV.
Special Offers for Pre-Orders
Customers who place a pre-order before 31 May 2026 will receive several additional benefits. These include the ability to choose any exterior and interior colour combination at no extra charge, a 7kW home charger, and two years of extended vehicle warranty and roadside assistance, bringing the total coverage to seven years.
AWD customers will also get power-operated front doors as part of their purchase, typically a $2,000 option. Additionally, existing X customers can take advantage of a $3,000 bonus when trading in their current vehicle for a new one or receive $3,000 in additional purchase support for a new Zeekr X.

Enhanced Performance and Features
The RWD version of the 2026 Zeekr X has a more powerful electric motor, now delivering 250kW—up from 200kW—and is paired with a new 61kWh lithium iron phosphate battery. This results in a claimed WLTP driving range of 405km.
The AWD variant combines a 115kW front motor with a 250kW rear motor, providing a combined output of 365kW—up from 315kW. It uses an existing 66kWh nickel-manganese-cobalt battery, offering a claimed WLTP range of 415km.
In terms of performance, the RWD model can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 5.6 seconds, while the AWD model achieves this in just 3.7 seconds. The RWD version also sees an improvement in DC fast charging time, now taking 18 minutes at up to 230kW DC, down by approximately 12 minutes. The AWD model remains unchanged at 30 minutes from 10 to 80 per cent at up to 150kW.

Standard Features and Safety
The 2026 Zeekr X comes with a range of standard features, including a 14.6-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also includes an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, a 13-speaker Yamaha premium sound system, and six-way power-adjustable front seats with heating and ventilation.
Safety features are also comprehensive, with seven airbags, a built-in dashcam, autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, lane centring, assisted lane changes, blind-spot monitoring, and front and rear cross-traffic alert. Additional safety measures include front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, and automatic parking.
