Brisbane’s Culinary Scene Shines Bright with Dine BNE City 2026
Get ready, Brisbane! The Brisbane Economic Development Agency’s highly anticipated month-long food festival, Dine BNE City, is making a triumphant return in 2026. This year’s event promises to showcase the very best of what the CBD has to offer, with a special focus on establishments that are open late, and a brand-new addition: breakfast.
Dine BNE’s “Morning Edition” is set to highlight the burgeoning number of excellent cafes popping up across the city centre. Alongside this, expect a plethora of exciting low-impact lunch options. In total, the festival boasts an impressive 130 offers and events, giving food lovers ample opportunity to explore and indulge.
Morning Delights and City Flavours
Modern Spiced Brunch at Intersection
Adam Wang’s Intersection dining precinct is rapidly establishing itself as a premier breakfast destination in the CBD. While the renowned sub-venue Coffee Anthology draws significant crowds, the adjacent Fika is also serving up some truly exceptional food.
For Dine BNE City 2026, Fika is presenting a unique Indian spiced golden corn pakoras dish. This delightful offering comes complete with tomato chutney, green chilli sauce, perfectly poached eggs, and a refreshing avocado and herb salad. This entire package is available for $25 throughout the month of June.

Hong Kong Fish Burger and Beer at Central
Central, Fanda’s striking J.AR-designed establishment on Queen Street, has been a popular spot since late January. Its Hong Kong-style fish burger is a must-try, taking inspiration from the classic McDonald’s Filet-O-Fish but elevating it with a distinct Cantonese twist.
During Dine BNE City, this delectable burger is served alongside thick-cut fries and a schooner of crisp lager, all for a very reasonable $30. This offer is perfect for either a satisfying lunch or a delightful dinner.
Elevated Dining Experiences
Set Lunch at Aloria
Perched atop The Star on the Sky Deck, Aloria is embracing its sophisticated setting with a generous set lunch offering. For $75, diners can select from a choice of four enticing entrees and two main courses, served family-style for the table.
Donna’s Dumpling Academy at Donna Chang
Chinese restaurants are often quite protective of their proprietary dumpling recipes, making Donna Chang’s decision to open its kitchen doors for a unique yum cha experience particularly noteworthy. This special $125 dumpling class will be expertly led by Head Chefs Tom Smith and Lyndon Tyers.

Tillerman Supper Club
Since its opening in 2022, Tillerman has quietly cultivated a strong reputation as one of Brisbane’s finest seafood restaurants. For Dine BNE City, they are extending their hours with a late-night set menu featuring ceviche, octopus, and swordfish steak for $49.
Nonna’s Favourites at Doughcraft
This popular Italian eatery on Mary Street is bringing back its beloved “Nonna’s Favourites” menu. For $78, diners can indulge in a three-course feast beginning with crispy arancini, followed by a hearty main course of slow-cooked lamb shoulder ragu pappardelle.
Adult Happy Meal at Blackbird
Blackbird presents its unique “Adult Happy Meal.” Diners can choose between “boujie” chicken nuggets or the Blackbird cheeseburger. Both options come with a glass of sparkling wine for $35.
Marvellous Mushrooms Chef’s Table
The Brasserie at Naldham House is hosting an intimate event in collaboration with Urban Valley Mushrooms. Diners can anticipate a meticulously crafted five-course menu showcasing produce-driven dishes that span the culinary landscape of the continent.
Dine BNE City runs from June 1st to June 30th, offering a month-long celebration of Brisbane’s vibrant and evolving culinary scene.
